The use of potassium supplements with potassium sparing diuretics (spironolactone, triamterene, amiloride) may lead to hyperkalemia. Take this medicine immediately after meals or with food to lessen possible stomach upset or laxative action. Consult your health care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
