Algotene is made from pure whole dried marine phytoplankton Dunaliella salina. Algotene is a rich source of natural beta carotene. Beta carotene is a powerful antioxidant and free radical scavenger. Beta carotene is converted to Vitamin A in the body as required. Vitamin A plays an essential role in vision, growth, reproduction, maintaining healthy skin and mucous membranes and regulation of the immune system.
A use authorised in Canada is not an authorised health claim in the European Union. See the health claims register.
