Used in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) to warm the kidney, strengthen Yang, replenish vital essence, dispel pathogenic wind and dampness. Indicated for treating the deficiency of kidney Yang: fatigue, spiritlessness, soreness and weakness of waist and knees, coldness of the four limbs, lower abdomen and genital region, night emission, frequent micturition; etc. Also indicated in TCM to relieve arthralgia and arthroncus caused by deficiency of kidney Yang and wind-cold obstruction.
