Bromelain is a digestive enzyme. Tumeric provides antioxidants for the maintenance of good health. Tumeric is traditionally used in Ayurveda to relieve pain and inflammation, and assist healing of minor wounds such as cuts and burns, and minor skin irritations. Tumeric is used in Herbal Medicine to aid digestion, to help relieve flatulent dyspepsia (carminative), as a hepatoprotectant/liver protectant, to increase bile excretion by the liver (choleretic) and stimulate contraction of the gallbladder (cholagogue). Tumeric is used in Herbal Medicine as an anti-inflammatory to help relieve joint pain.

A use authorised in Canada is not an authorised health claim in the European Union. See the health claims register.
