(Fast and long-lasting relief) for heartburn and acid reflux. (Day and) nighttime relief of heartburn, acid reflux and GERD (Gastro-Esophageal Reflux Disease) symptoms. (Feel) Gaviscon ('s foaming action) [Start (s) to work as soon as you take it/begin(s) working immediately]. Forms a (protective) (foam) barrier that (protects you from/blocks acid reflux) for hours. Acid reflux blocking foam barrier. Acid shielding foam barrier. Neutralizes excess stomach acid. Antacid. For the relief of heartburn due to backward flow of stomach acid. Stomach acid reflux. For the relief of heartburn, (indigestion), (upset stomach), (sour stomach) associated with excess stomach acid (hyperacidity). Helps reduce the time it takes to fall asleep (sleep onset latency aspect of sleep quality) in people with delayed sleep phase disorder. Helps to re-set the body's sleep-wake cycle (aspect of circadian rhythm). Helps to increase total sleep time (aspect of sleep quality) in sufferers of sleep restriction or altered sleep schedule (e.g. shift-work, jet lag). Helps to prevent and/or reduce the effects of jet lag (e.g. daytime fatigue, sleep disturbance) for people traveling by plane easterly across two or more time zones. Acid shielding foam barrier (for long-lasting relief).

Relief of heartburn/acid reflux symptoms should occur within 5 - 10 minutes of taking the product. Consumption with alcohol, other medications or natural health products with sedative properties is not recommended. Ask doctor before use if you suffer from kidney disease, asthma, cardiovascular disease, depression, diabetes of hypoglycaemia, hormonal disorder, immune system disease, liver disease, migraines, seizure disorders. Ask doctor before use if you are taking: anticoagulant, anticonvulsant, blood pressure medications, immunosupressive medications, sedative, hypnotic or psychotropic medications, steroids. Do not take for more than 2 weeks, or if heartburn symptoms recur, unless directed by a doctor, if you are pregnant or nursing. Except under your doctor's advice, if you are on a low salt diet do not exceed 3 tablets per day. Stop use and ask a doctor if heartburn symptoms persist, worsen, or are accompanied by painful swallowing, weight loss, vomiting of blood or recurrent vomiting. Sleeplessness persists for more than four weeks, mild gastrointestinal symptoms (nausea, vomiting or cramping) occur, allergic reaction occurs. Keep out of the reach of children. When using this product do not take other medications within 2 hours because effectiveness may be altered.
