Uses authorised in Canada
Vitamin B12 and folate helps to form red blood cells and to maintain the body's ability to metabolize nutrients. Vitamine B12 helps in the normal function of the immune system, in energy metabolism in the body and helps to prevent vitamin B12 deficiency. Folate helps to support normal early development of the fetal brain and spinal cord and helps to reduce the risk of neural tube defects when taken daily at least three months prior to becoming pregnant and during early pregnancy. It helps to prevent folate deficiency.
A use authorised in Canada is not an authorised health claim in the European Union. See the health claims register.
