Les recommandations d'emploi ne doivent pas conduire à une ingestion quotidienne d'EGCG supérieure à 300 mg. L'étiquetage doit comporter des avertissements déconseillant leur prise en dehors des repas, ainsi que leur consommation par les enfants, les adolescents, les femmes enceintes ou allaitantes.

Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or obese, have cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk factors (e.g. high blood pressure, high cholesterol and/or triglycerides), a liver disorder, or an iron deficiency, if your goal is to achieve weight loss, or for use beyond 12 weeks. Stop use if you develop symptoms of liver trouble such as yellowing of the skin/eyes (jaundice), stomach pain, dark urine, sweating, nausea, unusual tiredness and/or loss of appetite and consult a health care practitioner. Do not use this product if you have cardiovascular disease (CVD), diabetes, metabolic syndrome or insulin resistance. Some people may experience gastrointestinal upset. Rare, unpredictable cases of liver injury associated with green tea extract-containing products have been reported.
