Nicotine Gum functions as an aid to smoking cessation, to provide partial substitution for the nicotine in cigarettes in order to lessen withdrawal symptoms of smoking cessation. It is designed as a temporary aid to those who want to stop smoking cigarettes or break the cigarette habit, when used as part of a smoking cessation program. Nicotine Gum can also be used in smoke-free areas such as restaurants, airplanes, etc. where you temporarily need to refrain from smoking. For adults only. Not to be used by persons under 18 years of age.
A use authorised in Canada is not an authorised health claim in the European Union. See the health claims register.
