本品にはビルベリー由来アントシアニン及びルテインが含まれます。 ビルベリー由来アントシアニンにはスマートフォンやパソコン等の使用により低下するピント調節力を改善することでスマートフォンやパソコン等を使用することによる目の疲労感の緩和に役立つ機能が、ルテインにはブルーライトなどの光の刺激から目を保護するとされる網膜の黄斑色素を補う機能や、コントラスト感度（かすみやぼやけの解消により物をくっきり見る力）を改善する機能が報告されています。
