本品にはキトサンが含まれます。キトサンには、コレステロールの吸収を抑え、LDL(悪玉)コレステロールを低下させる機能があることが報告されています。LDLコレステロールが高めの方に適した食品です。

Precautions (original Japanese text)

多量に摂取することにより、より健康が増進するものではありません。一日摂取目安量を守ってください。摂りすぎあるいは体質・体調により、一過性の膨満感を覚えることがあります。ワルファリン（抗凝固剤に含まれる成分）あるいはバルプロ酸ナトリウム（抗てんかん剤等に含まれる成分）を服用中の方は、医師、薬剤師に相談してください。本品は植物由来原料を使用しておりますので、収穫時期などにより色・風味のばらつきがあり、またキトサンが白い浮遊物や沈でんとして残る場合がありますが、品質には問題ありません。
