本品にはルテイン、ゼアキサンチンが含まれます。ルテイン、ゼアキサンチンには目の黄斑部の色素量を上昇させ、ブルーライトなどの光ストレスから目を保護し、ぼやけの解消によりはっきり見る力（コントラスト感度）をサポートすることが報告されています。目の調子を整えたい方に適した食品です。/また高齢者の加齢にしたがい低下する認知機能の一部である、注意力（物事に集中して取り組む力、2つ以上の物事に注意を向ける力）、認知の柔軟性（周りの環境変化に自分をうまく順応させる、前の仕事から新しい仕事へ効率的に移行する力）を維持する機能があることが報告されています。
