本品にはアンセリンとブラックジンジャー由来ポリメトキシフラボンが含まれます。アンセリンには尿酸値が高め（尿酸値5.5～7.0ｍｇ/ｄＬ）の方の尿酸値を下げる機能が報告されています。ブラックジンジャー由来ポリメトキシフラボンは、日常活動時のエネルギー代謝において脂肪を消費しやすくする作用により、BMIが高め（BMI24以上30未満）の方のおなかの脂肪（内臓脂肪、皮下脂肪）を減らす機能があることが報告されています。
