本品にはGABAが含まれます。GABAには、血圧が高めの方の血圧を低下させる機能、仕事や勉強などによる一時的な精神的ストレスや疲労感を緩和する機能、一時的な疲労感やストレスを感じている方の睡眠の質（眠りの深さ）の向上に役立つ機能、すっきりとした目覚めをサポートする機能があることが報告されています。

・一日摂取目安量をお守りいただき、過剰摂取はお控えください。 ・食物アレルギーのある方は、原材料名をお確かめの上お召し上がりください。 ・降圧薬を服用している方は医師、薬剤師に相談してください。 【医薬品等との相互作用について】 「国立健康・栄養研究所「健康食品」の安全性・有効性情報」を調査したところ、理論的に考えられる相互作用として、「降圧薬や降圧作用を有するハーブとの併用により、低血圧を起こす可能性がある。」との記載があった。 しかし、GABAを含む食品は多数流通しているものの、実際の健康被害の報告は調べた限り見当たらないこと、本届出品は降圧剤を服用するような疾病に罹患しているものを対象としていないこと、念のため摂取上の注意として「降圧剤を服用している方は医師、薬剤師にご相談ください。」と注意喚起を表示していることなどから、本届出品を機能性表示食品として販売することに問題はないと判断した。
