本品には桑の葉由来イミノシュガー及び茶カテキン（ガレート型カテキンとして）が含まれます。桑の葉由来イミノシュガーは、食事に含まれる糖の吸収を抑えて、食後に上がる血糖値を抑える機能が報告されています。茶カテキン（ガレート型カテキンとして）には、肥満気味の方のお腹まわりの脂肪（内臓脂肪、皮下脂肪）を減少させ、体重の減少をサポートし、高めのBMIを低下させる機能があることが報告されています 。
