本品には、ビルベリー由来アントシアニンとルテイン・ゼアキサンチンが含まれています。ビルベリー由来アントシアニンには、スマートフォンやパソコンなどの使用で不足しがちな目のうるおいとピント調節機能をサポートし、目の疲労感を緩和する機能があることが報告されています。ルテイン・ゼアキサンチンには、目の黄斑部の色素量を増やして、ブルーライトなどの光刺激から目を保護し、ぼやけの軽減によりくっきり見る力（コントラスト感度）を改善する機能があることが報告されています。
