本品にはサケ鼻軟骨由来プロテオグリカン・サケ鼻軟骨由来非変性Ⅱ型コラーゲンが含まれます。サケ鼻軟骨由来プロテオグリカン・サケ鼻軟骨由来非変性Ⅱ型コラーゲンには、ひざ関節に違和感のある中高齢者（中高年）の日常生活におけるひざの動き（歩く、ひざの曲げ伸ばし、立ち上がる、しゃがむ、正座する、階段の上り下り）の改善をサポートすることが報告されています。また本品にはＮ-アセチルグルコサミンが含まれます。Ｎ-アセチルグルコサミンは、移動時におけるひざ関節の悩みを改善することが報告されています。歩行や階段の上り下り時、ひざ関節が気になる方に適しています。
