本品には、難消化性デキストリン（食物繊維）が含まれます。難消化性デキストリンには、糖の吸収を抑えることにより、食後血糖値の上昇を抑制する機能があることが報告されています。 また、継続して摂取することでBMIが高めの方の内臓脂肪を減らす機能があることが報告されています。

多量に摂取することにより、より健康が増進するものではありません。一日摂取目安量を守ってください。摂り過ぎあるいは体質・体調によりおなかがはったり、ゆるくなることがあります。本品は天産物を使用しておりますので、収穫時期などにより色・風味のばらつきがありますが、品質には問題ありません。
