本品にはイチョウ葉由来フラボノイド配糖体及びイチョウ葉由来テルペンラクトンが含まれます。イチョウ葉由来フラボノイド配糖体及びイチョウ葉由来テルペンラクトンは、健常な中高年者の加齢によって低下する認知機能の一部である記憶力（日常生活で見聞きした情報を覚え、思い出す力）の精度や判断力（判断の正確さ）を向上させることが報告されています。 本品はルテイン・ゼアキサンチンが含まれます。ルテイン・ゼアキサンチンは目の黄斑色素濃度を増加させる機能、加齢に伴い低下する認知機能の一部である注意力（複数の情報から特定の情報に注目する力）、認知的柔軟性（変化を認識し、対応する力）を維持させる機能があることが報告されています。
