本品にはアスタキサンチンが含まれます。アスタキサンチンは、目のピント調節機能を維持し、パソコンやスマートフォンなどによる目の疲労感を軽減、目の使用による肩や腰の負担を和らげることが報告されています。また、仕事や勉強に伴う一時的なストレス（イライラ感）を緩和する機能があることも報告されています。
