本品にはルテイン、ゼアキサンチンが含まれます。ルテイン、ゼアキサンチンには、目の黄斑部の色素密度を増やし、ブルーライトなどの光のストレスの軽減、コントラスト感度（ぼやけ・かすみの軽減によりくっきり見る力）を改善し、目の調子を整えることが報告されています。本品にはクロセチンが含まれます。クロセチンは、良質な眠りをサポートする（睡眠の質（眠りの深さ）を高め、起床時の眠気や疲労感を和らげる）ことが報告されています。また、目のピント調節をサポートする（パソコン作業などにより生じる目の調節機能の低下を和らげる）ことが報告されています。本品にはGABAが含まれます。GABAは、デスクワークなどの精神的ストレスがかかる作業によって生じる一時的な疲労感を緩和することが報告されています。
