本品には非変性Ⅱ型コラーゲン（三量体として）とブラックジンジャー由来ポリメトキシフラボンが含まれています。非変性Ⅱ型コラーゲン（三量体として）は膝(ひざ)関節の柔軟性・可動性を助け、歩く、階段の昇り降り、しゃがむ、正座する、正座や椅子から立つといった日常生活における膝や腰の違和感の軽減、寝返り、腰を反らす、腰をひねる時の腰の違和感の軽減、スムーズな歩行や階段の昇り降りをサポートすることが報告されています。ブラックジンジャー由来ポリメトキシフラボンは、年齢とともに低下する脚の筋力に作用することにより、中高年の方の歩く力を維持すること、日常活動時のエネルギー代謝において脂肪を消費しやすくする作用により、BMIが高めの方の腹部の脂肪（内臓脂肪と皮下脂肪）を減らすことが報告されています。
