本品にはチャカサポニン、サラシア由来サラシノール、有胞子性乳酸菌（Weizmannia coagulans SANK70258）が含まれます。チャカサポニンには、食事に含まれる脂肪の吸収を抑えて、食後に上がる血中中性脂肪を抑える機能、肥満気味な方の体脂肪、お腹の脂肪（内臓脂肪、皮下脂肪）、ウエスト周囲径、体重の減少をサポートすることで、高めのBMIを改善させる機能が報告されています。サラシア由来サラシノールには、食事から摂取した、糖の吸収を抑え、食後血糖値の上昇をゆるやかにする機能が報告されています。有胞子性乳酸菌 （Weizmannia coagulans SANK70258）は生きて腸まで届き、腸内環境を整えることで便通を改善する機能が報告されています。
