本品には、葛の花由来イソフラボン（テクトリゲニン類として）、サケ鼻軟骨由来プロテオグリカン・サケ鼻軟骨由来Ⅱ型コラーゲンが含まれます。葛の花由来イソフラボン（テクトリゲニン類として）には、肥満気味な方の、体重やお腹の脂肪（内臓脂肪と皮下脂肪）やウエスト周囲径を減らすのを助ける機能があることが報告されています。サケ鼻軟骨由来プロテオグリカン・サケ鼻軟骨由来Ⅱ型コラーゲンにはひざ関節に違和感のある健常な中高年の日常のひざ関節の動き（正座などの曲げ伸ばし、階段の昇り降り、しゃがむ、立つ、歩くなど）の改善をサポートし違和感を和らげること、加齢に伴う筋力の低下を感じている方の筋肉量の維持に役立つ機能が報告されています。
