本品には非変性Ⅱ型コラーゲン（三量体として）、ブラックジンジャー由来ポリメトキシフラボンが含まれています。非変性Ⅱ型コラーゲン（三量体として）は膝(ひざ)関節の柔軟性・可動性を助け、歩く、階段の昇り降り、しゃがむ、正座する、正座や椅子から立つといった日常生活における膝や腰の違和感の軽減、寝返り、腰を反らす、腰をひねる時の腰の違和感の軽減、スムーズな歩行や階段の昇り降りをサポートすることが報告されています。ブラックジンジャー由来ポリメトキシフラボンは、脚の曲げ伸ばし等の筋肉に軽い負荷がかかる運動との併用で、年齢とともに低下する脚の筋力に作用し、中高年の方の歩行能力の向上に役立つ機能が報告されています。また、BMIが高めの方の腹部の脂肪（内臓脂肪と皮下脂肪）を減らす機能が報告されています。さらに、日常活動時のエネルギー代謝において、脂肪を消費しやすくする機能があることが報告されています。
