本品にはルテイン・ゼアキサンチン、アスタキサンチンが含まれます。ルテイン・ゼアキサンチンには目の黄斑部の色素量を増やす働きがあり、紫外線・ブルーライトなどの光ストレスから目を保護し、コントラスト感度（ぼやけの軽減によりくっきり見る力）を改善する機能、年齢とともに低下する認知機能の一部である判断力（変化する状況に応じて適切に対処したり、推論したりする能力）、注意力（一つのことに集中したり、複数の物事に注意を向けられる能力）を維持することが報告されています。アスタキサンチンは、目のピント調節機能（かすみを緩和してはっきりものを見る力）を維持し、日常的なパソコンやスマートフォンの使用による目の疲労感を軽減し、パソコン作業による肩や腰の負担を軽減することが報告されています。また、細胞の抗酸化作用を持ち、紫外線刺激から肌を保護するのを助ける機能性、紫外線を浴びた肌のバリア機能（肌の保湿力）を維持する機能、日常生活や運動によって生じる一時的な疲労感を軽減する機能が報告されています。

本品は多量摂取により疾病が治癒したり、より健康が増進するものではありません。1日の摂取目安量を守ってください。まれに体質に合わない方がいらっしゃいますので、お召し上がり後、体調がすぐれないと思われる場合は、お召し上がり量を減らすか、ご使用を中止してください。乳幼児の手の届かないところに保管してください。製造ロットによって若干の味・色の違いを生じる場合がありますが、品質には問題ありません。
