本品にはビルベリー由来アントシアニンとルテイン・ゼアキサンチンが含まれます。ビルベリー由来アントシアニンには、ピント調節機能とパソコンやスマートフォンなどのモニター作業で不足しがちな目の潤いをサポートし、目の疲労感を緩和することが報告されています。ルテイン・ゼアキサンチンには、目の黄斑部の色素量を増やす働きがあり、紫外線・ブルーライトなどの光ストレスから目を保護し、コントラスト感度(ぼやけの軽減によりくっきり見る力)を改善する機能、また、健常な高齢者の加齢に伴い低下する認知機能の一部である判断力（変化する状況に応じて適切に対処したり、推論したりする能力）、注意力（一つのことに集中したり、複数の物事に注意を向けられる能力）を維持する機能があることが報告されています。
