本品には酢酸菌GK-1(G. hansenii GK-1)とルテインが含まれます。酢酸菌GK-1は、pDC（プラズマサイトイド樹状細胞）に働きかけ、健康な人の免疫機能の維持に役立つことが報告されています。ルテインにはブルーライトなどの光の刺激から目を保護するとされる網膜の黄斑色素を補う機能や、コントラスト感度（かすみやぼやけの解消により物をくっきり見る力）を改善する機能が報告されています。
