本品にはスルフォラファングルコシノレート、エラグ酸が含まれます。スルフォラファングルコシノレートには、健康な中高齢者の健常域でやや高めの血中ALT値を下げることが報告されています。（血中ALT値は、肝臓の健康状態を示すマーカーの一つです。）エラグ酸は肥満気味の方の体重、体脂肪、血中中性脂肪、内臓脂肪、ウエスト周囲径の減少をサポートし、高めのBMI値の改善に役立つことが報告されています。
