本品にはイチョウ葉由来フラボノイド配糖体、イチョウ葉由来テルペンラクトン、ルテイン、ゼアキサンチン、GABAが含まれます。 イチョウ葉由来フラボノイド配糖体、イチョウ葉由来テルペンラクトンは、健常な中高年者の認知機能の一部である記憶力(言葉・図形・空間的配置の記憶)・注意力・集中力・情報処理能力・実行機能(課題や情報に注意・集中し適切な回答や行動を実行する能力)を維持することが報告されています。 ルテイン、ゼアキサンチンは、加齢に伴い低下する認知機能の一部である注意力(一つの事に集中したり、複数の物事に注意を向けられる能力)や判断力(変化する状況に応じて適切に対処したり、推論したりする能力)を維持する機能が報告されています。また、目の黄斑色素密度を増加させる働きにより、ブルーライトなどの光の刺激から保護し、コントラスト感度(ぼやけやかすみを軽減してくっきり見る力)を改善する機能が報告されています。 GABAは、睡眠の質（深い眠りやすっきりとした目覚め）の改善に役立つ機能、仕事や勉強などによる一時的な精神的ストレスや疲労感の軽減があることが報告されています。
