本品にはモノグルコシルヘスペリジンが含まれます。モノグルコシルヘスペリジンには、寒い季節や夏の冷房などで気温や室温が低い時に、手先や足先の体温を維持するとともに、冷えにより低下した手先の血流量（末梢血流）を改善する機能、一時的に自覚する朝の顔のむくみ感や、夕方の脚（ふくらはぎ）のむくみを軽減する機能があることが報告されています。
