本品には、GABAが含まれます。GABAには、加齢によって低下する認知機能の一部である、記憶力（見たり聞いたりしたことを思い出す力）や、空間認知力（物の位置、形、向きなどを正確に把握する力）、論理的思考力（筋道を立てて物事を考え、答えを導き出す力）、持続的注意力（注意を持続させながら、作業を続ける力）、ワーキングメモリー（作業に必要な情報を整理し、短期的に記憶する力）を維持する機能、および中高齢者の活力感（元気や活気がわいてくる気分）、心の健康（楽しくおだやかな気分でいること）を維持する機能、睡眠の質（眠りの深さ、すっきりとした目覚め）の改善に役立つ機能、仕事や勉強による一時的な精神的ストレスを緩和する機能、日常の身体活動により、中高年の方の加齢に伴い低下する筋肉量を維持する機能、仕事や勉強などにより生じる一時的な活気・活力感（積極的な気分だ、元気がいっぱいだ）の低下を軽減する機能があることが報告されています。

GABAは理論的に降圧薬との併用で低血圧を引き起こす可能性があるため、降圧薬を服用している方は医師、薬剤師に、摂取について相談してください。またGABAは過剰摂取による健康被害は報告されておりませんが、過剰摂取により疾病が治癒したり、より健康が増進するものではありません。一日摂取目安量をお守りください。十分な休養をとっても疲労感が抜けない方、常に気分が落ち込む方は慢性疲労症候群やうつ病の可能性がありますので、医師の診察をお勧めします。

2粒または4粒 機能性関与成分GABAの研究報告に基づき、以下を目安にお召し上がりください。認知機能の一部である記憶力・空間認知力の低下、睡眠の質、仕事や勉強による一時的な精神的ストレスが気になる方、加齢による筋肉量の低下が気になる健常な中高年の方、仕事や勉強などにより生じる一時的な活気・活力感の低下が気になる方は1日2粒（2粒を1回）目安。認知機能の一部である論理的思考力・持続的注意力・ワーキングメモリー、活力感、心の健康が気になる方は1日4粒（4粒を1回）目安。
