La reine-des-prés est contre-indiqué à la femme enceinte, allaitante et à l'adolescent de moins de 18 ans (EMA). Elle est contre-indiquée aux personnes allergiques aux dérivés salicylés et par son action fluidifiante sanguine, ne doit pas être couplé à un traitement médicamenteux fluidifiant type Héparine ou avec des AINS fluidifiants sanguins (ex : aspirine). Contre-indiquée aussi en cas de néphrite.
