La consommation d’une quantité de stérols végétaux ajoutés supérieure à 3g par jour doit être évitée. Les patients sous hypocholestérolémiants sont invités à ne consommer ce produit que sous contrôle médical. Ce produit ne peut convenir, d’un point de vue nutritionnel, aux femmes enceintes et allaitantes et aux enfants âgés de moins de 5 ans. Ce produit doit être utilisé dans le cadre d’un régime alimentaire équilibré et varié, comprenant une consommation régulière de fruits et légumes, en vue de maintenir les niveaux de caroténoïdes.
