Déconseillé aux femmes enceintes et allaitantes et aux enfants de moins de 18 ans. Réservé aux adultes. Ce complément alimentaire n’est pas un médicament. Déconseillé en cas d’obstruction biliaire ou d'autres troubles de la fonction biliaire ou d’insuffisance hépatique. Déconseillé en cas de d'allergie croisée connue, en particulier aux familles des Apiaceae (anis, carvi, céleri, coriandre, aneth ou au pollen d’armoise ou à l’anéthole) et Asteraceae (artichaut, pissenlit). Déconseillé en cas d’ulcère gastro-duodénal, en cas d’insuffisance cardiaque ou rénale oedémateuses. Déconseillé en cas de saignement rectal non diagnostiqué et incapacité à déféquer liés à l'utilisation d'un laxatif. Déconseillé en cas de rétrécissement anormal du tractus gastro-intestinal, en cas de maladies de l'oesophage et du cardia, un blocage intestinal potentiel ou existant, une paralysie de l'intestin ou un mégacôlon.
