Camellia sinensis (L.) Kuntze: Seules sont admises la poudre issue du broyage des feuilles et les préparations obtenues à partir des solvants suivants : l'eau, l'alcool à 25 % (v/v), ainsi que les solvants autorisés pour la décaféination ou la suppression des matières irritantes et amères. Les recommandations d'emploi ne doivent pas conduire à une ingestion quotidienne d'EGCG supérieure à 300 mg. L'étiquetage doit comporter des avertissements déconseillant leur prise en dehors des repas, ainsi que leur consommation par les enfants, les adolescents, les femmes enceintes ou allaitantes.

Label warnings
Demander l'avis de votre médecin ou pharmacien. La consommation journalière ne doit pas dépasser 800 mg de 3-gallate d'épigallocatéchine et 3 g de stérols végétaux ajoutés. Ne doit pas être consommé à jeun, par les femmes enceintes ou allaitantes et par les enfants de moins de 18 ans, si vous prenez le même jour d'autres produits contenant du thé vert, en cas de prise concomitante d'un traite- ment anti-coagulant, d'ulcère gastro-duodénal, de troubles cardiaques ou d'hyperthyroïdie. Déconseillé en dehors des repas, en cas de prise concomitante de médicaments sédatifs ou sympathomimétiques, aux personnes allergiques aux produits de la ruche. Les personnes sous hypocholestérolémiants sont invitées à ne consommer le produit que sous contrôle médical.
