Avvertenze in Canada
Traduzione non disponibile. Testo originale, lingua: inglese.
Cautions and Warnings : Prior to bonding, impressions or in the presence of any other contaminate, the tooth/preparation surface must be cleansed with a brief 2-3 seconds of 35% phosphoric acid etch followed by a firm air/water spray to remove contaminate. This is not necessary when using a conventional phosphoric acid etch bonding system. To avoid blue discoloration of soft tissues, these ferric sulfate hemostatic agents should not be mixed with epinephrine or any other epinephrine-impregnated displacement cord.
Avoid contact with clothing. Use protective clothing and protective eyewear for the dentist, assistant, and the patient when loading and handling ferric sulfate hemostatic. If contact with clothing occurs, use Astringedent Spot Remover.
Use only recommended tips.Traduzione non disponibile. Testo originale, lingua: inglese.
Cautions and Warnings : If the hemostatic is not thoroughly washed (firm air/water spray) from the application site, the surface set of the impression can be compromised for polyether materials. Note: Use a silicon emulsion release agent when using with reversible hydrocolloid as the infusion technique of tissue management is so profound in stopping the bleeding and drying the tissues that said release agent is needed for this hydrophilic impression material. Because of the presence of iron, a temporary discoloration of the gingival tissues may appear. The patient should be reassured that this color will disappear within 24-48 hours. Care should be taken since hemostatic solutions may drip from the cord. The hemostatic solutions are yellow-colored and may temporarily stain. Being water-soluble, however, they can be washed off. They will not permanently discolor or stain enamel, dentin, or gingival. Some base materials stain on the surface but with no untoward effects. Some fabrics may stain with these hemostatics. Astringedent® Spot Remover is available for removal of stains from fabric (it should ONLY be used on fabric). Do not use on patients with known allergy to ferric sulfate or on patients with chemical hypersensitivities. Do not use self-etching primers or self-etching primer/bonding systems immediately after using Ultradent's hemostatics. If self-etching bonding agents are to be used after hemostatis, always scour surfaces with Consepsis Scrub or pumice and thoroughly wash before application. This is not necessary with conventional bonding systems that have a standalone etching step. It is also not necessary when using conventional glass ionomer, zinc phosphate, or similar cements following attainment of hemostasis. Always thoroughly and firmly wash hemostatics from tissues before applying other chemistries, for example, a rapid and potentially harmful reaction may occur with peroxides. Use protective glasses when handling/loading Ultradent materials including these hemostatics. Astringedent X is used when a stronger more potent hemostatic is required, where the attainment of quality hemostasis may be more challenging. It is not as kind to tissues as ViscoStat and Astringedent yet is kinder than other iron subsulfate solutions. Diluted Astringedent X does not equal ViscoStat or Astringedent.Traduzione non disponibile. Testo originale, lingua: inglese.
Contra-Indications : Do not use on patients with known allergies to ferric sulfate.
For patients or users with allergy concerns, refer to product allergen document available at www.ultradent.com. If allergic reaction is observed, rinse exposed area thoroughly with water and have the patient consult their physician.Fonte
