Cosmetics in Canada: the Health Canada Cosmetic Ingredient Hotlist

In Canada, Health Canada maintains the Cosmetic Ingredient Hotlist: prohibited substances and those with restricted use (product type, maximum concentration, warnings). This is the tool through which Health Canada communicates what the Food and Drugs Act and Cosmetic Regulations prohibit or limit. The French and English pages are not entirely identical: where their CAS numbers differ, both are included.
